Being a reluctant member of civilised society and reliant on earning an income to feed, clothe and shelter myself, I’ve been forced to try my hand at a few career paths. I enrolled in a post grad finance course and lucked into commodities trading, pretending to understand not only what derivatives are, but also how to make money trading the things. I graduated from derivatives to physical oil; slippery, slimy, glorious oil. Slippery is my attempt to open up the world of oil trading and Southeast Asia. Both are hedonistic minefields where a moral compass is your biggest liability and the depravity of the human spirit is rubbed in your face all day, every day.
