Among the books that I have read about introducing NLP to readers in general, I think this is the most well written.

This has been one of the most powerful books I've read when it comes to personal development and constructing a powerful mindset. I believe every single person needs to read this book and study NLP to better understand themselves and others. The quality of our lives is determined by the quality of our emotions and the strategies in this book allow you to better control your emotions and therefore, the quality of your life. Many people, including my past self, suffer because we weren't taught how our thoughts and emotions work and how to control them. As a result, you have many people who struggle with anger, stress, depression, jealousy, and many more negative emotional states. It has taken this book to put it all together for me. I have studied NLP since earning my Prac and Master Prac designations in 2004. This book took all that information, and then some, and put it in proper perspective, order and understanding. For me it was like a new light had been lit. I highly recommend this book to all levels of NLP - novice to advanced. The exercises are described so that the reader can experience the benefits of the portion of NLP being taught. I have already use the "keep, stop, start" exercise with clients and witnessed the opening of communication that had atrophied during their relationship. There are so many positives to attach to the book that space prohibits. I would look on this book as a working manual to be returned to time and time again for new insights and tools in helping yourself and others to obtain the positive lives and behaviors they seek. Five stars seem not enough.

Brian Brunckhorst entered the laundry business when he and his wife purchased their first laundromat, Advantage Laundry, in 2003. Eight years later, Brian is an industry veteran dedicated to teaching other coin laundry entrepreneurs best practices and strategies to improve operations through his industry resources, www.laundromatinsider.org, and www.buyalaundromat.com. Brunckhorst and his wife currently own and manage Advantage Laundry's four San Francisco Bay area locations. Prior to entering the laundry business, Brunckhorst leveraged his technical skills working as an engineer at a variety of high-tech companies in Silicon Valley. Using his technical knowledge to his advantage, Brunckhorst has incorporated equipment with controls that enable him to effectively run his stores remotely. Brunckhorst is widely respected as a coin laundry expert and is very active in the Coin Laundry Association (CLA). From the Author The Regency Era is a fascinating time period and represents a most advantageous setting for my novels. While I've always been intrigued by times gone by, I've never seen myself as a history buff. I am in awe of writers who know theses eras by heart, providing all these little details that make up the world we live in. Therefore, I do not claim my novels to be historically correct. My characters generally live in a slight variation of our reality, which, to be honest, gives me free rein when it comes to the trials I put them through (which is the very reason I started writing to begin with).I generally focus on the human experience and am curious to see how people behave in certain situations. At this point I want to apologize to my characters for using them as lab rats in my experiments!The key element of life is love, is it not? But what if society dictates different rules? What if love is not a primary concern? A primary goal? How do you deal with a life that is not yours to choose? Today, we are all so used to choosing our own paths that we cannot imagine what it would be like to find ourselves in a position where choices are made for us. It's just an awful thought! And when it comes to matters of the heart, it's even worse! Can you imagine marrying someone you don't know? Someone you may not even like? Someone you might even hate on sight? And yet, you have no choice. The date is set. You have to say 'I do', no matter how you feel. How do you deal with that? How does your heart deal with that? How do you get through the day? These questions are what motivated me to write the Love's Second Chance Series. Of course, in romance writing you need a happy ending. Who would want to read a book about misery and heartache if it does not ultimately lead to something worth living for? Aren't we all idealists when it comes to love? Do we not all dream of the perfect match? Nonetheless, in the beginning of my novels these couples find themselves wed not to their ideal match but to a stranger instead, and for reasons that never include love. Each of them facing different trials. Each of them with a unique mix of character traits and emotional back stories. They all have to find their way, and I enjoy nothing more than to accompany them on their journey.

Had he really just apologised to her?"You have my apology, but please also take this." Bringing his right hand forward, he held out a small box to her. Anna's eyes narrowed. "What is this?""A gift."Anna frowned. "A gift?""Indeed. Do you not wish to open it?" he asked, coming to stand before her, his eyes looking down into hers. For once, Anna saw no smug smile on his face, and she wondered what had happened.Reluctantly, Anna took the offered box, knowing before she opened it what it would contain. "Jewellery?" she asked, glancing at the exquisite earrings resting in the small velvety box, their diamonds catching the dim glow that hung about the room. "You cannot be serious!"A frown creased his forehead. "Are they not to your liking? Would you rather have had emeralds?"Anna laughed, "How can you spend a fortune on a trinket when you only just now avoided bankruptcy? How much of my dowry paid for these earrings?"Her husband's lips thinned at her words. His eyes narrowed as his head slowly leaned forward until his nose almost touched hers. "You have no say in how I spend my money," he whispered, but anger rang loud and clear in his voice."Your money?" Anna scoffed. "Yes, it is indeed your money. Bargained for with immoral means." She took a deep breath. "May I ask why you bought these earrings? Why would you spend any of your newly acquired fortune on me?"Straightening up, he looked at her, eyes searching her face. "Is it truly so hard to believe that I wished to see a smile on my wife's face? Have you never heard of an instance where a husband buys jewellery for his lady?""Of course, I have. Only these instances differed in one major aspect from ours.""Would you care to enlighten me?"Taking a seat on the settee, Anna smiled at him with indulgence. "Affection. Why would anyone give a gift without feeling the least bit of affection for the person to whom it is given?" She cocked her head. "Unless there is an ulterior motive, of course. Tell me, my lord, what do you hope to gain from this?"Exasperated, her husband threw his hands in the air. "There is no pleasing you, is there? Yes, your dowry saved my estate, but that does not mean you are of no worth to me."Anna laughed, "Yes, but only because you want an heir. In every other regard, I am more of a nuisance to you.""Well, right now you are," her husband snapped, again advancing on her. "Why do you insist on such a childish behaviour?""Childish behaviour?" Glaring at him, Anna almost jumped to her feet. "Wasn't it you who ran because I refused to agree to whatever strikes your fancy?"Towering over her, he hissed, "Strikes my fancy? Is polite conversation really too much to ask? And might I remind you that you ran as well?" He exhaled through his nose. "You should have stayed at Brookestone!"Anna's eyes narrowed. "Didn't you just agree that I had every right to leave? And didn't you just apologise for leaving yourself?"His jaw clenched. "Well, I didn't mean it," he snapped. "Your stubborn insistence on this childish behaviour," as she opened her mouth, he lifted a hand to stop her, "is most inconvenient for me. In order to talk to my wife, I had to travel all the way to town."Feeling the heat burn in her cheeks, Anna fixed her husband with an angry stare. "Well, marrying you was most inconvenient for me as well! I guess we each put the other out in some way. Now, unfortunately, we have to live with it!"
