Both books 1 & 2 were great reads, I actually thought I knew each person in the books and could feel their pain. I could not put these books down. people do not sleep on this author, go out and get both books so you can start book two right after book one you will not be disappointed. Below is a message I left on the author's facebook page.Dear Mr. Johnson, I just got finish reading Gansta Twist 1 & 2, loved both of them but, you sort of left me hanging. I need to know if a part 3 is in the works, so many unanswered questions that I need answers to. i.e., how did the crew fair in Cali, did Taz ever find out who killed Keno and if yes how did he take it, did Bob and Gwen get married, did they take Sharita I think that is her name Keno's girlfriend) out to Cali with them, where did Snuffy and his girl come from, what happened to Neema after the move, what did Taz and Sacha have (boy or girl, twins) did Mama-Mama ever show her gangsta? Did the snow bunny go to Cali? Please start on part three. Added after I left Facebook page.Did the other two crew members find their wifey out in Cali? Did they stop doing what they were doing and how did the network benefit them. I would have loved for Won to stay around so glad that he was avenged. Was the beef with the 107 Hoovers squashed. Clifford got what was coming to his punk butt..... To understand what I am talking about you must get the books. Would love to do a book discussion with anyone that read the books already.

I immediately started reading this novel as soon as I finished Gangsta Twist1. The second one is just as jam packed with action as the first novel. It still has just as many surprises and twists. Introductions are made with new high level characters which Won has been scheming on for over 15 years. We learn why Taz hates drugs! We all see more deception unveiling and the ultimate secret is kept by Sacha at almost the end of the book! We again witness the naivity and stupidity of Tazneema by Clifford's manipulation nature, even his manipulation over his old bunch, the 107 Hoover Crips. Yeah, lawyers can be O'G's too! LOL! I can honesty say this in this novel EVERYONE gets what is rightfully coming to them with the exception of the fallen soldier in Taz's Crew. We also find out how "Snow Bunny" Tari can get down and dirty grimy. As I said in the first novel, this author has stupendous skills and can weave the best of tales. He keeps it Gangsta with many a twist! Don't sleep on this one!

Loved the first book. The 2nd pissed me off because I don't understand why Taz and Sascha are even in love when he should be with Tari. Then I don't need to know what every team member is doing or going. I know if im a millionaire I wouldn't be eating at Outback. Cliff as a gangster is not believable what so ever and what is up with the stupid names...Bo-pete and H-Hop? Out!

Books 1 & 2 are awesome. I could not put them down. Taz is such a cool character and he and Sacha have a great relationship! I really like Mama Mama's character as well. Tazneema is just young and dumb as we all have been at some point. I feel like there will definitely be a part 3 to 'Gangsta Twist". I sure hope so!! Part 2 literally had me in tears. I highly recommend this book!!
